After viewing the film trailer and the film itself, I have decided to look into how the film portrays the them of; Thriller with a Twist. This will give me inspiration to how I can apply my film trailer around this theme;
Throughout the film trailer, a sense of confusion is shown, this develops the theme of thriller with a twist. A s a result of this, questions will be created within the audience, due to this; tension an be seen within the film. This can be collaborated with the non-diagetic soundtrack, to keep the tension within the film.
After viewing the film itself, I can see how a sense of confusion is applied throughout the film by creating questions from the audience. Most of these are answered as soon as, however, several of the bigger questions are unanswered for most of the film, this keeps up the tension within the audience.
The way in which the director has ensured that the twist is one of the biggest features has been cleverly created by the director. He has ensured that the this is one of the biggest questions the audiences asks. As well as adding confusion to the film, it creates tension within the film and keeps the audience on track with the film.
