The film is called "Shinjuku Incident, and stars a cast including; Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu, Naoto Takenaka, Masaya, Jack Kao and Fan Bingbing. The director of the film is Tung-Shing Lee. The coporate company involved in the film is Sony Pictures. Release date is June 8, 2010.
I have again decided to concentrate on the sound specifically to identify how effectively it needs to be used within the film trailer;
As soon as the trailer begins a non-diagetic soundtrack and a voiceover are both used to add tension to the trailer. The will effect the audience massively as their attention will be caught right from the start of the trailer.This is an effect feature that can quite clearly be seen in multiple films to ensure the film trailer stands out.
Also, as the film trailer continues, the beat of the soundtrack is very much louder and jumps a lot more. This adds tension to the clip, in which the soundtrack collaborates with the genre of the film; the audince may therefore question many areas of the storyline.
Aswell as there being a beat that adds tension to the clip, sound effects are constantly used throughout. This increases the tension within the audince, aswell as ensuring they question the key moments of the clip.
Finally, a great effect used witnin the clip is at the very end; as the name of the film flashes onto the screen, a slice from sword sound effect will engage the audience to the clip.
