Story Considerations

Posted by Lee Taylor

This area of the planning section will cover the story that will be used within my trailer; this is a key part of the film trailer as it will need to ensure that the audience are on the edge of their seats whilst also constantly guessing what may happen next.

Throughout this section I will be using many already created stories for films that I may have reviewed in research. This will allow me to identify several story-lines which could be used, I will then look into these stories and see how well they may apply to what i intend the story to do.

STORY 1:
"An illegal organisation situated within the UK, known by the world is constantly chased by the CIA over a ten year period. The fight ends in the UK with only 3 people remaining in the organisation after the rest were reluctantly taken down. The group includes one new recruit, but is everything as it seems with the new recruit."

STORY 2:
"A teenager on his way home from a party disappears with no evidence or explanation to how this could have happened. However, is there an explanation to why he has disappeared, was he kidnapped, murdered or has he just vanished?

STORY 3:
"After being killed years before by an out of control teen, questions still remain unanswered. But, was the boy murdered or is he still alive...or as the one time out of control teen quotes "A ghost from the past" haunting his killer. But, when other's begin to see the ghost, is this mystery becoming a reality.

STORY 4:
"When a graduate fails at university, with no though to retake his subject, David decides to look for any job that is available, even online. After months of searching for this job, the character finds an enticing, as the job description says, "Building Development". However, the job is not quite as it seems, set up by a group of criminals, the job is just a trap for the group of criminals to play around with, and play "Criminalised" and "Sick" games."
