Chosen Story + Ideas

Below is a presentation displaying the chosen story for my film trailer and several potential ideas to be used in the trailer.

Story 4 Explanation

"When a potential graduate fails at university, with no though to retake his subject, David decides to look for any job that is available. After months of searching for this job, the desperate character finds an enticing, as the job description says, "Architectural Designer" a huge interest to the character. However, the job is not quite as it seems, set up by a group of masterminds, the job is just a trap for the group of criminals to play around with, and play some indescribable mind games."

This story is quite a popular type, used in several films, however, I feel I can take an unconventional look to the story in which the audience may feel a part of. It may come across to be a horror if there was gory action and people in utter pain, however, I will take a different look and not only play mind games other than gore with the character, but also with the audience too. I will need to identify several types of mind games that will also, include the character and the audience.

Story 3 Explanation

"After being killed years before by an out of control teen, questions still remain unanswered. But, was the boy murdered or is he still alive...or as the one time out of control teen quotes "A ghost from the past" haunting his killer. But, when other's begin to see the ghost, is this mystery becoming a reality."

This story will allow me to be able to mess around with the haunting concept of the story, this is due to an "out of control" teen murdering a young child years before he is released from prison, and so from the day he is released to the end of the teen, he is haunted. I can confuse the audience when it comes to it being real or not when his friends and family are also haunted. As a reult of this the audience may be on the edge of their seat throughout, untill the solution/answer is revealed at the end.
